If you are brand new to the lash extension world, the choices can be daunting. Classic, Hybrid, and Volume terminology can be confusing.
Lash extensions have the ability to accentuate the eyes, give you a more bright, awake appearance, and quite frankly, help you look pulled together without a stitch of eye makeup, therefore saving you time!

Which look is right for you?
What are Classic Lashes?
Classic is named for how they look, Classic. If your look is more understated, or you want extensions that only your best friend who knows what extensions look like will notice, these are your jam. Classic lashes give the look of mascara without mascara. They were created to extend the natural lash, enhance naturally, and soften.
Classics are placed in a 1:1 ratio- 1 extension per 1 natural lash. They come in a variety of materials, thicknesses (1-1.5mm), and curls. Many of these will be determined during your first appointment based on your natural lashes and the look you are trying to achieve.
What are Volume lashes?
Volume lashes are the flirty extrovert at the party! This look often gives you the better-than-falsies look and can achieve some serious glamour and drama. You also may hear the term, Russian Volume. There is no difference in Volume or Russian Volume, the phrase was coined because Russian technologists recently invented this form of fanning in extensions.
Unlike Classics, Volume is not 1:1 ratio. Fans are created specifically for you at the time of your service in a variety of thicknesses. For example, a 1:3 ratio (1 natural lash to 3 extensions) will create a more voluminous look than a classic lash. Many lash artists create fans of 1:5, 1:7 up to 1:10 lashes per lash. You can see how the larger the fan, the more dramatic the look. Many clients choose volume. The technician is able to create a beautiful look, that can be tailored to the client’s own lashes and desires.
What are Hybrid lashes?
Hybrid lashes are the combination of a classic lash and a volume lash, at a ratio of about 70-30. This gives you more of a wispy, natural lash line. You can still achieve some volume, with strategically placed classic lashes to frame the eyes.
